Cole Williams Releases New Limited-Edition Double EP Today: Now On Tour With The Pimps Of Joytime

“It’s been few and far between for a woman to come along with a torch to guide instead of a mirror to deflect the point. Cole is woman, hear her roar…” — The Noise Beneath The Apple®

Brooklyn’s highly fashionable songwriter, composer, producer and artist extraordinaire Cole Williams announces today the release of Out of the Basement, Out of the Box, her new limited-edition double EP. The album, co-produced by Josh Valleau and Cole Williams, includes the tracks from her 2011 soul/reggae/rock EP Out of the Basement Part I, plus a new collection of songs showcasing her pop and R&B roots.

Cole Williams is quickly becoming one of the hottest female vocalists to play with the boys of funk and hip hop, including The Pimps of Joytime who she’ll be touring with this summer, and Chiddy Bang whom she offered some powerful vocals to on their single “Ray Charles,” and recently performed with on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

“After my last album and a couple of singles mainly dealing with universal love and becoming comfortable in my own skin, I wanted to get back to the kind of music that I grew up on, more of the soundtrack to my life,” says Cole. “I’d like to think this double EP is the theme music to everyone who owns who they are and are loving it.”

Out of the Basement, Out of the Box is now available on iTunes, CDBaby, Bandcamp, and as a limited physical album. Cole will celebrate the release of the EP with a listening party tonight in New York City at Amelie (22 West 8th Street) at 7:30pm.  To connect with Cole: http://www.thatsmycole.com

“Beautiful vocals over music that’s part pop, rock, rap, reggae. Cole Williams deserves a mention and a nob because her vocals are sweet to the ear.” — Rock N Roll Experience
